Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Wallet ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our personal finance management app ("App"). By using Wallet, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not collect your name unless you choose to provide it.

1.2 Financial Data

The core purpose of Wallet is to help you track your finances. You provide us with:

  • Bank accounts and balances
  • Transactions (description, amount, date, category)
  • Budgets and expense categories
  • Travel trips and trip budgets
  • Transfers between accounts

This data is stored securely on our servers and is never sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers.

1.3 Camera and Photo Library (Optional)

With your explicit permission, the App can access your camera and photo library to photograph receipts or read screenshots of payment notifications. Optical character recognition (OCR) is performed entirely on your device using Google ML Kit — image data is never uploaded to our servers or to Google for this purpose.

1.4 Microphone (Optional)

With your explicit permission, the App can access your microphone to interpret voice commands for entering transactions. Voice input is processed locally and any text derived from it is treated the same as manually entered text.

1.5 Notification Access (Android)

On Android, with your explicit permission, the App can read notification content (e.g., bank payment alerts) to automatically detect and suggest expenses. Notification data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers beyond the transaction you choose to save.

1.6 Usage and Technical Data

We collect minimal technical data to operate the service, including:

  • Device type and operating system version
  • App version
  • Crash reports and error logs (anonymised)

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your financial data to train AI models, sell advertising, or build marketing profiles.

3. Third-Party Services

Wallet integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

Firebase (Google LLC)

We use Firebase for backend infrastructure (database, authentication, hosting). Data is stored in Google Cloud servers. See Firebase Privacy Policy.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat may receive your purchase history and device identifiers. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Google ML Kit

OCR text recognition runs on-device via Google ML Kit. No image or text data is sent to Google servers as part of this feature.

Apple App Store / Google Play

In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google depending on your platform. Their respective privacy policies govern payment data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at lucashenrique125@gmail.com. Upon request, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
